Cigar aging tracker for your humidor
Resting cigars is part of the hobby. Humidor tells you when each stick is ready — and when it may be past its peak — so you never forget a box in the back of the cabinet.
Why track aging?
Many cigars benefit from weeks or months of rest after delivery. Without a system, it is easy to smoke too early or hold too long. An aging tracker records purchase date, intended rest period, and optional peak-window end date for every vitola in your inventory.
How Humidor calculates ready dates
When you add a cigar, set rest months (for example, 60 days as two months). Humidor computes a ready date from your purchase date. You can also enter a ready date manually. The Aging tab shows a progress bar from purchase to ready, so you can scan what is still resting at a glance.
Peak window and status
Optionally set a peak window end date for cigars you want to smoke before they fade. Humidor updates each cigar's status: Aging while before ready date, Ready when rested, Low Stock when quantity is low, and Finished when quantity is zero or past peak.
Practical tips
- Group similar rest periods — mild cigars often need less time than full-bodied boxes fresh from shipment
- Use storage location fields to separate humidors or trays
- Combine with the smoke log so you note how rest time affected flavor
